Dive in! ?
The dish was created on a base of clear glass with an overlay of sparkly, watery aventurine blue. I also added 3 ‘bars’ of clear on the left side of this dish for added depth.
This little dish is perfect for loose change, keys, or even a snack that will fit in a 4.5″ square space (food-safe glass).
This piece was fired twice, approximately 12 hours each time in the kiln. The first time fused the clear and watery blue pieces into one piece, and the second firing formed the dish shape. I have added clear silicone bumpers to the underside of this dish. Gentle hand washing is recommended (mainly for these bumpers).
