This tealight has a bit of an odd name, and here is the reason. I created this one with a bright red glass and a metallic gold-iridescent clear glass for a subtle sparkly effect.
I fired 15 of the metallic pieces face-down, but… the 16th square landed metallic side up. You can see a close-up in the 4th photo. I like to think of this as a glassy treasure hunt!
This tealight holder was created in two fuse firings. I cut the base piece and fused the components together in the first firing. Then shaped the fused piece into this tealight holder in the second firing.
