Sea Forms – Orphans and Odds (14)

This is an eclectic mix of beads featuring my handmade murrini (the jellyfish forms). I love creating murrini. They take some time to make, but I love the jellyfish and anemone-like forms.

First, I create a big blob of glass using different colors and stripes (see last photo), then pull it to create a cane. Once I have the cane, I cut it into discs and finally apply them to the base bead and melt them in.

This set is an odds-and-ends set; some matching beads and a couple of different focal beads. The wide range of colors made photography difficult. The second photo is a zoom-in to see the darker colors a little better. These beads are ready for your designs and ocean-inspired creativity!

I’d love to see what you make with these. Please contact me if you would like your work to be considered for a future customer gallery of design work.

On sale until Friday, December 8th, 2017.
