A mini garden in glass! This little ‘pocket vase’ is a lovely accent in the window, on a wall, or even on your fridge.
This vase was constructed with two sheets of glass — clear for the back and iridescent red for the front. The iridescent glass sparkles with metallic blues and purples. The moonflower stems are a semi-translucent mint blue with milky white dots. At the top edge of this vase are ruby red raised dots. The clear back allows for maximal light transmission.
I hand-wired the rings and loop hanger out of heavy gauge copper.
This piece is fully fused, meaning that it is 100% sealed and holds water for live stems. I have had stems in mine 3-4 days before needed to add additional water. These vases are great for dried flowers or air plants. Or… fill this vase with essential oils and diffuser reeds.
