Dog Biscuit Bowl

This bowl will hold oranges as pictured or…. maybe even… some biscuits for your favorite pooch!

I started this piece by creating very thin dog biscuits out of powdered glass. They were delicate prior to fusing on the blue panel, but once fired, pack a punch. The ivory and blue glass colors react to form a thin outline. The bowl is backed with ivory glass, creating the same thin outline at the junction on the edge.

This mid-sized bowl measures 5.5″ side-to-side. The base is flat and the glass rests directly on the table (no bumpers).
