Fused Glass Dishes and Bowls

Fused glass happens by melting and forming glass using a kiln. The process involves lots of cutting and shaping sheets of glass and then waiting many hours as it melts in the kiln. With the exception of flat panel art (for windows, walls), each piece takes at least 2 firings, sometimes 4 or 5 to fuse and shape.

I also like to use torch-created elements to add some swirls and shapes that would be hard to create with sheet glass.
