Summer has given way to fall. Now, in the blink of an eye, “the holiday season” is upon us.
I’ll be the first to admit that I loathe shopping and all of that hubbub, whatever the time of year or occasion. But…! I DO love finding that heartfelt gift, especially when I can shop in the comfort of my jammies.
With that in mind, I have several things I have been working on to make shopping on my site a smooth experience.
Site Shop Improvements
? FREE First Class shipping to US addresses – No coupons or codes needed.
? New ways to pay – In addition to Stripe and PayPal, you can now login and pay with your Amazon account. All options appear upon checkout — after placing item(s) in the cart.
? Testimonials – In the past, I have always directed shoppers to my customer feedback on Etsy. Now I have my very own customer reviews and testimonials page on this site to add in your reviews. I welcome your reviews for a specific item or general reviews about the quality of my work and art pieces.
? Gift Cards – I have been wanting to offer this for a long time, but it is a fairly involved process, as I found out. The day has finally come: I am happy to say that gift cards are here!
Gift certificates on my site are available as eGift cards and physical gift cards, mailed out by me to your recipient. I have created a large library of eGift cards ready to send immediately. You can also upload your own custom designs (1MB limit on file size). All of the details are on the eGift cards page.
? Customer Login & Registration – Now you can set up a customer account or login to access your current account. Once logged in, you can view past purchases, gift card amounts, and shipment information.
? Secure Certificate on this site – This has been in place for some time, but it fits with this topic of letting you know that your information and purchase experience on this site is with a secure certificate in place (SSL – the green lock in the address bar).
Additional ‘shopping information’ — always available from the Shop! pull-down menu and the shop pages sidebar:
It’s Time to Stock the Store!
Now that the site housekeeping and busy work is done, I am ready to get new shop listings up for the holiday season. I have been busy in the studio this fall — now I just need to do photographs and listings of all of the new pieces. (That’s always the slow part ? )
