This tutorial in Glass Line magazine focuses on not only how to do a mask bead, but also why I make them! I describe how I met my painter friend Tascha and how I came up with my version of mask beads after she requested that I make some “Folk Art Face” beads.

I had the privilege of being the Guest Artist for the Week of February 12-18, 2006 on Mary Lockwood’s site.

I did not write an article for this Bead Unique magazine, but a couple of my rooster beads are part of a bead photography tutorial written by Stephen and Suzanne Dougherty. The article is called “Point, Click, and Smile” and is on page 62.

Stephen and Suzanne Dougherty own Table Top Studio, a photography system for people like me who aren’t photographers(!) It is wonderful to use — here is my personal review of Table Top Studio.

Beadwork magazine contacted me about writing a “how to” on a necklace design I created some time ago, called the Triple Drop necklace. This article features my lampwork as well as a beautiful floral bead by Amy Trescott of Forever Grateful Beads.

Myr article is the one on Fun Bugs in this issue! The beads I made are on the cover — hard to see in this small version, but there they are… the bugs in the lower left by the flame.
