How is your spring been going? It is beautiful here. I wish the greeness would last. Have to appreciate it while I can. Here is my dog Sophie enjoying the greeness. →
In other news, I have been busy working on few sites (in addition to Veterinary Medicine @ About.com). The latest is my “fun” vet med blog: www.AboutVetMed.
I have also been spending way too much time on Twitter, but it is worth it. I am learning so much and meeting so many great people.
Beads? Yes, squeezing in time to make beads as time allows. Need. More. Time.

Hello again from your long lost beadmaker. OK not lost, just really busy. I am hoping for some torch time tomorrow or this weekend. Fingers crossed. In the meantime, the store has been restocked.
Thank you for shopping.
Now I need to get busy and get listing. Things have been busy, just not bead busy. I hope to rectify the situation the first part of April, after spring break. Thanks for stopping by, and as always, feel free to email me with any questions or requests.
I am back from my travels and getting caught up. I re-opened my Etsy store and put every thing on sale. I hope to get new items up in the next week or so. Thanks for stopping by!
Wow. Words can’t describe my trip. It was awesome! We have a holiday weekend coming up (no school on Monday), and I will be back in action on Wednesday, February 18th.
For now, here are a few photos from my trip.

This is the Empire State Building bathed in the Westminster purple and gold lights. This is a special partnership between Westminster and the Empire State Building. The lights change for the seasons, special dignitary visits to NY, and special events. Here are a few of the dog photos I have up so far. I have about 500 to sort through!

I had an unbelievably amazing time seeing Annie Lennox perform on Good Morning America (GMA) and meeting her afterward. I have been a fan forever. I am still floating! She is even more awesome in person.
I was in the front row(!). Thanks to Annie and GMA for this opportunity.
I just received an email letting me know that my profile on the TalentDatabase.com site is featured in the Art channel. That was a nice surprise! Thank you. They sent me the graphic link below, which takes you to my page. Here is the link to the art channel page.
As part of my site redesign/reorganization, I plan to create a page of other sites and galleries that I am on. One more thing on that ever-expanding To Do list.

Uno the Beagle - 2008
I will be taking a little bead break to attend the Westminster dog show in NYC February 9 and 10, 2009. I will be back on the 14th. I have put the Etsy store items on the “back shelf” until I return, so the store is currently empty at the moment.
<— Here is the 2008 Champ, Uno the Beagle, who I met after last year’s show.
In other news… HGTV is finally scheduled to air the “That’s Clever” episode featuring my work and the work of other Spokane area artists. They shot the show in the summer of 2006 in Spokane, and I just learned that it is finally going to air. LOL I do not have the date yet, but will post here when I do.
Thanks for stopping by and I will try to post photos of my trip — if not during the trip, after I get back.
Well, it has been 2 – 3 years in the making, but I finally got around to updating this site!
I am still working out a few kinks. The main site structure is the same, with the exception of the new “Fun Stuff” category, replacing the “beads to buy” page, since that was a duplication of the Bead Blog. The fun stuff page has snow photos, customer shop links, and more.
Have a look around!
Holiday plans changed on a daily basis here, due to lots and lots of snow. This meant that we did not see extended family as planned, so I made a few videos to show our neighborhood snow removal efforts after the road drifted closed with 3-5 foot drifts.
Click here to see the snow videos!
I hope to be back to regular bead production in January. Happy new year!
